Encaustic Art wax block singles

Encaustic wax blocks are manufactured with an emphasis on high quality and color purity. Resistance to light of each color is a numerical indication: 5 = excellent, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = limited, 1 = low.

All colors are mutually immiscible, but for conventional mixing, some better than others. Metallic waxes are mixed with small metal particles, pastel colors are created by mixing with white wax. Neon colors are not as resistant against light as standard wax colors.

Formulated to high safety standards using: Beeswax; Paraffin Wax; Carnauba Wax; Micro Crystalline waxes; Glycerine Palmitate/Stearate; Pigments.

The size of each block of wax is 11 mm x 24 mm x 42 mm, weight is 11-12g.

Quality of offered waxes is among the best in Europe. Waxes contain the maximum amount of pigment, thus achieve truly vivid colors without usage of large quantities of wax.

Compared with the "crayon" wax types have a much longer life, so that the same volume of wax will last much longer.
